They returned to Britain in early 2000 after a lifetime involved in the producing and competing of show jumpers in Costa's homeland Greece where they ran their own equestrian centre which was affiliated to the Hellenic Equestrian Federation (member of F.E.I.).
Costas played a large role in the Hellenic Equestrian field where he was enthusiastically involved for the last 25 years acting also as President and founder member of his own successful Equestrian Athletic Club. He has enjoyed seeing his eldest daughter Eleni, progress from Balkan Games Gold medallist at the age of fourteen to Greek National champion for two consecutive years, winner of The Queen Elizabeth Cup 1997, Central European Champion 1998, Olympic short list 2004 to name but a few of her successes.
Costas and Lesley continued their equestrian activities in Britain from the year 2000 acting as resident trainers at the Grange Equestrian Centre, Okehampton and then their own training centre at South Molton specializing in problem or difficult horses and also as members of the Racehorse re-training Federation.
Their wide-spread knowledge, talent and experience with all kinds of equine are now internationally acclaimed having also made their mark as an athletes in Greece with home bred or re-trained horses. Both Lesley and Costas are qualified saddle fitters who, unlike many saddlers and saddle makers, have first hand experience on top of the saddle and not just from the ground.
"There are many factors to be considered when supplying a horse with a saddle and in depth knowledge and expertise of general horse management from every aspect is an absolutely necessary factor in this process. Condition, age, purpose, health and owner budget are only a few of these factors which define the final correct choice for the rider and the horse. Well fitting and correctly chosen equestrian equipment are an extremely important factor in the development of any horse be it for top level performance or just for pleasure." states Costa.
They work closely with a carefully selected group of fine saddle makers whose expertise compliment their own to create a perfect solution for your horse, tailor made to your individual needs both financially and physically.
Their saddles are accompanied by a huge range of accessories including bridle work, horse clothing, rider clothing and literally anything equestrian. Many, if not all of their products have been tried and tested and expert advice can be supplied at any time on via help-line.
